The Play Mill Cafe is located on level 1 of a 19th Century Mill Building in Halifax. We offer a large range of toys for your child to explore including a large sensory garden area, ride on toys, role play areas and climbing frames, trampoline, sensory room, swing area and arcade room (6+)

All this whilst you relax in our comfortable café area sampling a delicious home-made cake or trying out one of the many options on our varied and enticing menu that caters to allergies and dietary requirements. We have a takeaway menu and you can come to the cafe to grab a bite to take away or eat in. We even have a fully licensed bar so you can grab a glass of wine or a beer with your meal if you wish.

We are specialists in hosting children’s parties and offer a range of affordable packages to suit all budgets and requirements. Whether your little one just wants to eat and play or invite their friends to a disco party, with games we can cater for it all with our additional add on extras. We also have the option of a pamper party in our new larger event space, where children can be pampered from head to toe. For private bookings we offer the option of booking exclusive use outside of our normal opening hours, allowing you full private use of the Play cafe. We can also provide parties for adults or a mix of adults and children.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for details of our ever popular events, especially during the school holidays, these include mascot breakfasts, pamper events, meeting animals and more. We have some weekly activities for your little ones to enjoy, including Bloom Babies and Little Movers. We also have other events throughout the year which can include family disco’s, live music events and psychic nights (adults only).
